INCI: Myristica fragrans
Origin: It comes from the seeds of the evergreen tree of the same name that grows in Asia, mainly in Sri Lanka.
Indications: Highly aromatic essential oil, with a aroma like the spice from which it comes. It is considered an ideal addition to hot and spicy aromas, while its therapeutic effect has been observed in rheumatism, arthritis, neuralgia and all kinds of muscle pain.
Contraindications: Use only small doses. In large quantities it can be toxic or cause nausea.
Synergy with other essential oils: Black pepper, Cypress, Geranium, Sage, Rosemary, Orange
